Using Reports

Hisab provides comprehensive reports to help you understand your business, prepare for taxes, and make informed decisions. This guide covers all available reports.

Accessing Reports

  1. Click Reports in the sidebar
  2. Choose the report type
  3. Set your date range
  4. View, filter, and export

Invoice Report

Get a complete overview of all invoices.

What It Shows:

  • Total invoiced amount
  • Paid vs outstanding amounts
  • Overdue invoices
  • Invoice breakdown by status

Filters Available:

  • Date range (this month, quarter, year, custom)
  • Status (draft, finalized, sent, paid, void)
  • Customer

Key Metrics:

OutstandingUnpaid finalized invoices

Tax Report

Essential for VAT declarations and DGI compliance.

What It Shows:

  • Revenue by tax rate
  • VAT collected by rate
  • Total taxable amounts
  • Exempt amounts

Tax Breakdown Example:

Period: November 2024

Taxable at 20%:  150,000 MAD  →  VAT: 30,000 MAD
Taxable at 14%:   25,000 MAD  →  VAT:  3,500 MAD
Taxable at 10%:   10,000 MAD  →  VAT:  1,000 MAD
Taxable at  7%:    5,000 MAD  →  VAT:    350 MAD
Exempt (0%):      20,000 MAD  →  VAT:      0 MAD

Total Revenue:   210,000 MAD
Total VAT:        34,850 MAD

Customer Report

Understand your customer relationships.

What It Shows:

  • Top customers by revenue
  • Customer payment behavior
  • Aging report (30/60/90 days)
  • Customer activity trends

Top Customers View:

Shows your highest-value customers with:

  • Total invoiced amount
  • Number of invoices
  • Payment rate
  • Average payment time

Aging Report:

Track overdue amounts by period:

All reports can be exported:

Export Formats:

  • PDF: Professional format for sharing

How to Export:

  1. Generate the report
  2. Click Export button
  3. Choose format
  4. Download file

Date Range Options

Quick Selections:

  • This Month
  • Last Month

Custom Range:

Select specific start and end dates for precise reporting.
